ARSD 24:57 (Teacher Performance Standards and Evaluation) The effect of the rules will be to revise teacher evaluations by making student learning objectives optional, revise outdated timelines, and clarify and update language. ARSD 24:28 (Educator Certification); ARSD 24:53 (Educator Preparation Program Approval) The effect of the rules is to require all certified educators, new to the profession or from out-of-state, to take an approved South Dakota Indian studies course to gain certification.
