The proposed changes will lead to clarification of filing and complaint requirements; simplification of ARSD chapter 20:10 through removal of unnecessary or preempted requirements; removal of unnecessary filing burdens for telecommunications companies; updated gas and electric regulations that align with current practices; updated telecommunications rules that more closely reflect telecommunications technology; and to provide pipeline safety staff with necessary information in order to carry out statutory obligations.
