Assistance Payments - Article 67:12
Article 67:12 is primarily related to the former AFDC program and also includes the Repatriate program and Unemployed Parent Program (UPP). In July 1997, a large portion of the Aid to Families With Dependent Children program (AFDC) was replaced by Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF). The statutory authority cited in Article 67:12 was repealed in 1997. There are currently some Medicaid programs that follow 1996 AFDC rules as wells as Title IV-E (eligibility determined by CPS). This rule change updates to current statutory authoriut and makes form and style edits throughout
