South Dakota Board of Examiners in Optometry

The effect and reason for the rules is to update the rules to reflect changes made to statutes during the 2022 Legislative Session. The amendments are a general clean-up to remove unnecessary barriers to licensure, update language to reflect current technology and practice, and correct references to authority and legal references.
