70:01:02:30 – Gregory County speed zone rule; 70:01:02:36 – Hughes County speed zone rule; 70:01:02:52 – Moody County speed zone rule; 70:01:02:63 – Walworth County speed zone rule.

70:01:02:30 – Gregory County speed zone rule. The South Dakota Department of Transportation proposes to reduce the speed limit from 65 miles per hour to 55 miles per hour on U.S. Highway 18 through Dallas. 70:01:02:36 – Hughes County speed zone rule. On State Trunk Highway 1804 in Hughes County, the department plans to extend the current 55 miles per hour speed limit in a northerly direction for approximately one mile. 70:01:02:52 – Moody County speed zone rule. On State Trunk Highway 34 in Moody County, the department is proposing a 55 miles per hour speed zone to smooth the transition between the existing 65 miles per hour speed zone outside of Egan and the 35 miles per hour speed zone through Egan. 70:01:02:63 – Walworth County speed zone rule. On U.S. Highway 12 in and around Selby, the department plans to lengthen the existing 35 miles per hour speed zone and shift the location of the 45 miles per hour transition speed zones. The purpose of all the rule changes is to enhance safety.
