Incorporates the Integrated National Board Dental Examination, streamlines and updates requirements regarding clinical competency examinations, updates supervision levels, updates the duties and procedures performed by dental assistants and registered dental assistants, updates registered dental assistant registration requirements, removes redundant regulation, removes obsolete provisions, updates references, updates registered dental assistant training program criteria, updates student exemption to registration, and updates continuing education requirements applicable to registered dental assistants.
