1) ARSD 41:03:01:16 – Restrictions on use of firearms, crossbows, and bows – Exceptions. Effect: The proposed amendment would adjust the hunting season end date in Sica Hollow in Unit 48A to end on May 31. 2) ARSD 41:06:13:01 – Spring wild turkey hunting season established. Effect: The proposed rule change would increase the number of resident one-tag male turkey licenses by 55 licenses and decrease the number of resident two-tag male turkey licenses by 150 licenses for the Prairie Units. The proposed change would also change the turkey season to end on May 31. 3) ARSD 41:06:13:02 – Open units (Spring turkey) Effect: The proposed amendment would change the end of the turkey season for units identified in this rule to end on May 31. 4) ARSD 41:06:16:03 – Daily bag limit (Ducks). Effect: The proposed amendment would reduce the daily limit of pintail from two to one. 5) 41:06:16:07 – Goose hunting season, Conservation Order, and August Management Take established – Shooting hours – Exceptions – Open units – Closed Areas. Effect: The proposed rule would change the Spring Light Goose Conservation Order which currently runs for 79 consecutive days beginning the day after Unit 2 dark goose season closes to now closing on May 15. The proposed change would also adjust the white–fronted goose season from 86 days to 74 days. 6) ARSD 41:06:13:04 – Application requirements and restrictions (Spring turkey) Effect: The proposed change would eliminate the use of rifles while hunting turkey. 7) ARSD 41:06:16:09 – Bag and possession limits on geese. Effect: The proposed change would increase the daily bag limit from two to three for white-fronted geese. 8) ARSD 41:06:18:02 – Open Unit (Sandhill Crane) Effect: The proposed rule would expand the open unit for Sandhill Crane season by moving the eastern boundary farther east; from Highway 281 to Highways 25 and 81. 9) ARSD 41:06:26 Black Hills elk hunting season. Effect: The proposed change would allow for an elk license to be made for a raffle conducted by a nonprofit organization. The license would only be available for a resident. All money raised would be used for wildlife management. 10) ARSD 41:03:04:01 – Definitions (Camping permits and rules) Effect: The proposed rule would introduce a new definition of a “modern cabin” that would include beds, electricity, sewer and water. 11) ARSD 41:03:04:03 – Camping permit fees. Effect: The proposed rule would establish a per night rate for a “modern cabin.” Also, the proposed rule would increase the rental cost of the group lodge located at Shadehill State Recreation Area. 12) ARSD 41:03:04:13 – Park facility use fees. Effect: The proposed rule would establish use fees for the amphitheater located at Good Earth State Park.
