Updates Chapter 20:48:01 to add certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA), clinical nurse specialists (CNS), certified nurse practitioners (CNP) and certified nurse midwives (CNM) to the definition of school. Amended Chapter 20:48:06 to raise the biennial renewal fees for RNs, LPNs, CRNAs and CNSs from $70 to $95.Updates Chapter 20:48:07 for the approval of nursing education programs and adds requirements for approval of advanced practice nursing programs. Repeals Chapter 20:48:15 related to the former Nurse Licensure Compact. Updates Article 20:62 for nurse practitioners and nurse midwives including repealing the requirement for a collaborative agreement for all licensees who have completed a minimum of 1040 practice hours, increasing the biennial renewal fee from $70 to $95 and adding rules for the management of patient records, prescribing, and out of hospital birth practice.
