70:01:02:60 - Tripp County speed zone rule

The speed limit on U.S. Highway 183 beginning at its junction with U.S. Highway 18 in Colome, then south for 0.5 mile, is being reduced from 65 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour. This speed zone change will slow traffic in city limits and facilitate stopping for northbound traffic on U.S. Highway 183 approaching the intersection with U.S. Highway 18. This speed zone rule change will also better accommodate traffic in residential and business areas.
