Joint Boards Nursing (BON) and Medical and Osteopathic Examiners (BMOE)
The effect of the rules will be to improve the efficiency and operation of the joint boards of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners (BMOE) and Nursing (BON), to provide clarification to the licensing process, update collaboration requirements for nurse practitioners/nurse midwives to improve access to care; to include reference to medical assistants in BMOE rule; and to create a new article covering medical assistants.
